"There is nothing beyond
the surface image in this town; as it has become 'You're not who you
really are, but who people THINK you really are', as well as what you
can get away with..." –Apollo Staar, 2004
“Most homeless people I see wandering Santa Monica Blvd. keep my attention and are more interesting than any 'Celebrity' in the Tabloids, simply because of the fact that they aren't brainwashed by the media, and they don't give two shits about who's who. They are just concerned with getting a hot meal, a quick fix, fuck or a fat rock. Their innocence and ignorance is pure beauty"
-Apollo Staar, 2006
